Good day! Now I am facing same problem with buying puppy from one couple! I found their advertising on Turkish site, they sad they are from Ankara, so I send them interest email. But reply made me shock! Because of work they leave turkey and now living in Cameroon! They asked me all same questions like all of you!!! But they send me sertificat for changing name of owner!!! They are ready to get first half payment after second one! But when I asked more pictures with dog, they sad that they sell all and don't have anything , that after payment in airport they can rent camera and make picture!!! Me as well I have been emailing the person about the puppies ever since yesterday night. I though it was to good to be true the price that I would pay and they will pay the rest. I notice it was awkward because I was looking for a pom puppy online when I saw the same picture of the dog this person was supposedly trying to sell me and online was 4,000 and the person told me its only 145$ . I ask for more pictures and she send me the pictures that was online. I felt this was a scam so I had to research the address up to see. I work my ass of for my money and this Xmas I wanted to get my daughter a puppy and she fell in love with the picture of the puppy and wanted it so I told the person I wanted the dog but something was not right and now that I read this I won't proceed with the payment. Yes she was all religious as well and started bringing up some Bible verses and stuff now she will pay their consequences because with god no one messes with him. Stupid people !

I received emails with pics of the pups, asked detailed questions about how I would care for them etc.... then asked for nearest airport etc... this is the email about me sending payment for their travel.

below is a copy of the email which the delivery agency sent to me . what you need to do is to confirm your address and copy the western union address on the email and make the payment. when you make the payment get back to the delivery agency with the transfer details so that the payment can be confirmed and the flight schedule will be sent to you which contain flight departure time , flight arrival time and the names of the delivery agent that will deliver the dogs at your house address .

This is a.scam!!!! They.are using the name Tracy Niky. She is claiming to live in.Atlanta and currently working in.Arkansas on a.Research Program. I just got scammed too.... pug puppy named mimi first its send 140 for paperwork then next thing you know its 875 for pet insurance.. now they are emailing me ssaying if i dont pay they will sue me or i will go to jail for abandoning the pet there... i dont know what to believe!!! i hate these people!!

Husky Puppies for $160. . .i paid this yesterday and guess what i looked them up right now. I thought this was all legit since I had to sign some papers and everything. THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME. I was going along with it all and then I realized when I went on Google to look at different colored huskies and what not in images, and BAM all of "Amy's" photos. You completely nailed everything. Even down to the misspelling and awful English. I also found the same ad with different information and the email later became suspended and invalid. I really hate these people.... I looked up Amy Claris on Facebook and a foreign chick came up.... Luckily this website came up as soon as I entered the name in Google, so beware dude(s). It's very simple:

- if it's from Cameroon, it's a scam.

- If they ask for money using Western Union or Moneygram or any other wire transfer service, it's a scam.

If you want a pet, go to a breeder and see the pet and pay for the pet and take the pet home. You'll be a lot better off.

On August 21, 2011 I purchased 2 poms from a Kristal Green in Greenville, Mississippi. (supposed to be) She said she & her husband would luv for me to take both so they wud not be seperated. Cost for transportation $360.00 to airport $400.00 home delivery. For 40.00 more it was worth it, then I get email telling me they needed to b insured 1100.00 (refundable) i like a fool sent it, then they tell me they need shots 1550.00 again I paid. Thinking this was it & they were on there way & wud b delivered again an email telling me I needed to pay for City permit & ownership papers. i did this also. Kristal Green (real name Elmeda Muta) promised on the bible that I would receive the pups. The man delivering them was robbed when he went to get the transportation money so he cudnt come down, then someone else tried to claim the pups. I can write a book about this. I have been scammed out of 9000.00 usd & they are still trying to get more from me. The flight tickets expired, feedings, robbery (of course nothing insured). They spoke of the LORD like true Christians. How can they use GOD so horribly. I may have lost the battle but not the war becuz I have GOD on my side & he will handle them on his time. Right now 2months & some days later they call me & say they have put up all the money but 200.00 usd to get them to me by Skypet. Skypet said they are doing me a favor becuz of Brian at Air France. I am very said that this has happened. They took my kindness for weakness & ran with it. i have never purchased animals over the internet & I believed in these people. So sad! I can keep writing but i need about 100 pages to tell all. Who can help me with this? i cant let 9000.00 just go out the window.

Me and my wife just got scammed by this shit for almost $4500 do not let this happen to you.

The company they used was in beech creek, NC supposedly when it got to the US...supposedly. We then received an email that the dog had died from overdose. we are now receiveing a contract saying they are going to pay us 14000 for compensation of the dogs death.

I was hesitant at first with this whole ordeal, but I decided that I would try it. I called Western Union and they said it was perfectly safe for this transaction. Then, I received the conformation on the flights and then found this website. I got the email like most did about the insurance costs. I emailed them back and told them that I would not pay that over western union. They said they were sending them per Companion Air...IT ISN'T EVEN UP AND RUNNING!!!! I'm heartbroken and even worse it upset my 2 year old....he is devastated!!! I should have known this was too good to be true.

She said she had 2 sugar gliders, needed 75 for shipping and would accept the adoption fee after I got them. then the $200 flight deposit was brought up and I became suspicious. I had already sent the shipping fee, and now im screwed for it. I was just scammed by Starpet Movers in Cameroon, They gave me flight details of my puppy being shipped then told me they needed insurance money as his insurance had expired. We begged and borrowed to get his money and after it was paid I waited at the airport. No puppy ever arrived, the airline said no puppy was ever booked or boarded on that plane. I then received e-mail from the owner selling me the puppy that said there were complications when he was flown and the money wasn't for insurance it was a vet bill to keep my puppy alive. They then told me the puppy had died while on the flight. The Starpet Movers contact who is Thomas Gadner has now had his phone disconnected and nobody will return my e-mail. I am scared and don't know what to do, I am out $400. Please help if anyone knows what to do

I even got her to send me phone numbers cause i didn't beleive her and I reached someone at +23796646716 and he said that his name was Mr. Tom Smith and he was the General Manager in the Pet Department at Douala Airport. He told me that the flight time for these puppies was 3 hours and 27 minutes from Africa to Alberta Canada. That is funny considering they are half way around the world. BEWARE if it doesn't sound right it isn't!

Yes, you got screwed, and if you keep dealing with them you're going to get even more screwed. They'll send you a cashiers check and have you send the money via Western Union to an accomplice. Then you will discover the cashiers check is forged and the money you send it gone forever. They use Western Union because it's untracable.

unfortunately we were suckered into this scam from a man that calls himself rubin tucker. he says his son died in a car accident and needs to get rid of the puppies cuz of bad memories. we fell for it and the only thing he asked was for $198.00 which is transfer paper work. then rubin would send out the puppies in the next flight. but the next day we got a bogus email from the airport in cameroon asking for more money $588.00 cuz they were not in a safe crate.. they even sent bogus pics... when i called the number for the airport which was also bogus and saw everyone elses postings... i was pissed. thank god i didnt sent them more money. but the jerks got another thing coming cuz he was stupid enough to call me on my cell phone { caller id is great} cuz he was wanting the wetern union money of 198.00 so badly and in a hurry.. i called him back after all this and told him off. and its not going to stop there. my local newspaper that posted this guys listing and the attorney general will here of this. rubin WILL get prosecuted in his own country.

I too was scammed so don't feel bad. I was responding to an email about an English Bulldog Puppy named "Boss" who needed adopted. The lady claimed that she just relocated to Cameroon for work and was not able to stay at her new apartment with the puppy that she loved so much. She quickly needed to find him a good home, and so on...... She sent me a list of questions for me to answer, and pictures on two different occasions of this puppy. I had never before researched about buying a dog online, but sure wished I had. I was naive enough to send her 180.00 thru Western Union. I am happy to say now that I have found this website that she will not be getting anymore money from me. She even sent me itinerary of the puppy's flight today. I must say they are very good at what they are doing, so please do not fall for this horrible scam like I had done.

We were scammed. We sent half the adoption money which was 95 usd. We told the owner we would send the other half when the puppies arrived. The airport which was Douala International Airport Small Pets Department confirmed that the puppies were in transit and that they would go to france first then to our airport here in the states. When the puppies apparently arrived in france, Air France sent me an email stating that they need 570 usd for insurance paper work or they would quarantine the puppies for 2 weeks and it would cost 7000 usd after that. They also told me the 570 usd was refundable. When I googled the email address, it brought me to this site. I also notified Air France who told me that it was a scam, they do not have a small pets department. I informed the seller that he might want to get his local police involved to get his puppies back seeing that he was possibly scammed as well. Just a couple days before that I lost about 420 usd from a puppy scam from Nigeria. Told the wife we will save our money and buy a puppy here in the states. Can't trust anyone from West Africa, as I'm told from a buddy I work with who is from Ganna.

I inquired about a Yorkie in Watkinsville, GA on Petfinder.com AngelicaJoli@live.com responded saying the family was doing research in Cameroon and had no time for the puppy that is 13wks and named Tina. She said I could have her all I had to pay was $110 to have her shipped, I responded I would not pay up front so I split the cost with her I wired (Western Union) $55 to her fiance Junior Ekane (she would be busy and couldn't pick up the money). All went well until the next day I got an email from the airport stating I had to pay $232 for insurance for Tina and I would get a refund of $200 from the company when she was delivered. I was very suspicious so I did research and found this site!!!!! Thank God I am only out $55. Just remember if it is too good to be true then it probably is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We paid an individual in london for a puppy to be shipped to house. we received notification that the puppy had been shipped. We later received a message that the puppy had been shipped to false location. We received a message that the puppy had been sent to cameroon. We then receive another message that we need to pay almost 400,00 Euro for a certain type of transport case and a stress shot. We wrote to the e-mail address and informed that the shipping agency was to pay for the false shipping and we would not pay anything. A e-mail form the Douala International Airport said the the pet agency had paid 800,00 euro and we still owe them 300,00 euro.

I contacted this person about an African Grey Parrot and they also came off as a good Christian person. I contacted them about a bird that was supposedly close by so I could pick it up. That is when I was told that they were on missionary work in Cameroon and that they no longer have time for the birds. At once, this seemed fishy to me. If you advertise a bird in one place, why are you located in another? Not to mention, without even telling them where I was located, they told me how long the flight would take. I went ahead and gave false information to follow through and make sure that this was the same scum bags I read about here, and sure enough, I recieved an email back asking for all of my personal information, every sentence ended in ok, so at once, I knew it was the same scamming idiots. I then wrote them back telling them how sad and pathetic they were for scamming innocent, unsuspecting people, who were kind and trusting. It is really sad when people like this float by screwing people out of their hard earned money. I found the birds on birdsnow.com. Watch out for these as well.

I found female teacup yorkie on buyandsell.com I didnt think anything of it. Her fee was $120. I was like wow thats a really great deal. So I sent the money. Her name was Tina Dawson. Stay away from this woman! She puts on a story that will suck you in.. She says it was her daughters dog and that she died in a car crash 3 weeks beforehand. She comes off as a good "christian" woman. Then I get an email from the airport that I have to send $360 to cover the insurance. I thought it was a little wierd so I didnt send the money. I have been trying to get in touch with the woman so now she wont answer me. I am now out $120. I hate that this happened. Especially during the Christmas season. hey there just so you all know i also was ripped off i only have myself to blame for not being thurow enough. when the owner of the puppies [damian] said that the puppies had to be flown to me because they were located in cameroon all i had to do was bring up camroon intrnational airport and look up the ads and i would have learned it was a scam. anyway i foolishly western unioned 300.00$ to have the puppies sent. after that i recieved a e-mail in my spam from pet air delivery saying they had all the proper documentation and the puppies were vet checked and cleared for delivery,only one problem, the crate damian brought them in was no good . i needed a special climate controlled crate to ensure the dogs would arrive in good health. this crate was going to cost me$680.00 and that would be refunded back to me upon arrival. at this point i knew something was not right, so i checked out all the adresses andphone#s then punched up the douala airport and nothing matched. oh yea i first tried to get the phone # from the operater and i was informed there is no directory assistance in cameroon, how conveniant. any how knowing now that i had been ripped off i decidedi would make this guy beleive i was going to send more money to have the dogs deliverd so i had him call me evry time by telling him i was unable to call long distance anymore if i did my phone would be cancelled.so he had to continuasly buy calling cards i also gave him false in formation on the western union receipt that i was supposed to have sent but did not.so i had this guy running to the western union and spending money calling me for a week oh yea once i told him i sent the money he pretended that he received it and the puppies were shipped. now noing i never sent anymore money he would be in touch with me again sure enough he called back and said the puppies were stranded in england they could not deliver them any further without a copy of the receipt so that they could reimburse me my money when the puppies arrived. any way to make this story shorter after a week of bullshit for this guy damian he finally confessed to not sening the dog because he did not receive my money and something was wrong. he really hoped we could get it straghtend out so he could get the money but instead he got a mouthfulll off shit from me i tore him a new asshole but this guy stayed on the phone and apoligized to me saying he used my money for his education and ther was no work in cameroon that is why these people in cameroon are doing this. he stayed on the phone with me while i called himevery name in the book he also said he needed my guidence because he had no father in his life .all this bullshit was to make me feel sorry for him and help him. i say fuck him he stole from my family and i need my money that i work hard for to support my children please be aware and do not let yourself get ripped off

I have been chatting with someone about a puppy only $150.00. Because I kept tell this person I was unsure they offered for me to pay half and after I received the puppy I could pay the rest. Finally I looked up the country and city and found this website amongst others. I immediately wrote back about my findings. I have not heard of anyone since.

i wish i came across this site earlier we have just been scammed for shipping fees and travel insurance that we had payed yesterday beware of all animals poated on ADOOS.COM with a yahoo email IF ONLY I COULD GET MY HANDS ON THEM the emails i recieved were from a MARGUES84@YAHOO.COM and someone pretending to be from the iata about travel insurance

Thank yous all so much, I was just on the net looking for the airport that the pupps would be departing from, and I came upon your comments.

Mrs Kelly Miller, has the pupps at the airport ready to leave, and wants a 90.00€ deposit ASAP for the pupps to leave.

I always had a gut feeling that this is a scam but my husband never thinks people are able to pull something like this off.

OMG!!! The same thing happened to me I saw an ad for a teacup yorkie online and contacted the owner via email about purchasing it. I was under the impression that she was located in the state of North Carolina but she wasn't. She gave me this long drawn out story of how her daughter just died from a brain tumor and she was trying to sell the dog because her daughter was the main caregiver of the dog. I fell for it and I sent a $110.00 money gram and not even two days later I received an email from the Douala airport claiming that the dogs insurance was expired and I would have to send an extra $288.00 to cover the dogs insurance but they said that the money was refundable once the dog arrived in the states. I emailed the owner and she said that she was broke and didn't have the money she said she could only cover $100.00 of it. I told her that I refused to send any more money down there. She gave me this sobb story about how she has fallen on hard times which to me was BS becuase I'm like hell were in a recession everybody is having hard times and she knew the dog's insurance had expired but she still sent it to the airport. so I asked her well why would knowingly send your dog to the airport knowing that her insurance was expired. I knew then that this had to be a scam. So in the end I'm out of $110.00 but I know that I will not purchase anymore anything from overseas especially coming from Douala Airport.

I feel for it, they got me for 161.00 , but my daughter said it was real , but it wasnt. man am i stupid. They shut my internet off at the wrong time i was emailing them from my phone so i couldnt check any of this out but i have and i am turning them in cause i have the peoples names on the western union papers that i have and i kept every one of them i sent 2. yes i found an ad on kijiji for an engish bulldog up for adoption so i contacted the person. she says she lived in the U.S. and she moved to Cameroon for the U.N. Maleria comittee. Now that she's there the airport wont release her dog because supposedly there's not dogs allowed in Cameroon from other countries. She request a payment of $200 which supposedly goes straight to the airport for shipping the dog here as well as the toys and food for the dog. oh and the most interesting part is that the dog keeps switching sexes, first the ad says a male dog then she emails me saying "she (which means female)" and then in the email the dog switches btwn being a male and female dog. i bet they dont even write the email there's probable templates they use and forgot to edit all the "he/she" part in the email. people like these digust me becuase i love dogs and i had 2 english bull dogs that i rescued from the shelter and the older one had past earlier this year and the one that is still with us seems to feel lonely i just wanted another one so they could be friends. they need to start finding a real job instead of trying to scam people. its soo funny that once i saw cameroon i knew right then it was a scam, thats how popular in scams they are there.
