Landing on 04
If your in a low wing and trying to land on 04, then you need to hit the threshold, or you sink rate = the slop of the runway!!!
Try not to stamp on the breaks too!

It was a very windy night that they all just seemed to fall over.

You can only use a BP carnet card! Be warned, and if you need a call out it will cost >$250
Curry
Head for the Golden India, such great curries and we fly there just to enjoy one.
Nice place but expensive
Stayed overnight at Forrest with my Daughterand re-fuled. Great for a stopover or break. Airport manager and his wife were terrific, and the dinner was great, but it was the most expensive leg of my whole trip round Oz :(

PPR required, and power lines to the north (Don't try and over fly) and Power line to the south across the strip (You have to fly under it)!!

Hard to get PPR, have to follow lots of rules, but friendly with fuel.

Gravel Runway, mainly used by the RFD. Call the road house to check.
Nice Place
Easy to get fuel 100LL or the sorvo on the edge of the field, also a good shop and does a nice fish and chips
