Great airport!
Super friendly staff and great gas prices
Expensive
$40 landing fee and $50 handling fee for a single engine bonanza. Highest fees Iβve ever seen

Wow amazing about airports i have never seen this kind of content before it is amazing and wonderful the same time. But i will like for airports to be built in my hometown. THANKS it was really helpful. You can also check mine too https://www.makeoverarena.com/waptrick-games-videos-mp3-download-www-waptrick-com/
Great spot!
Landed here for the first time today, despite having flown around Houston for 20 years. Cozy spot. Nice drop-in over the trees onto 17. Will return!

Severe restrictions apply - do not fly in blindly!!
Great Facility
Well maintained grass strip. Well worth a visit.
Good runway conditions (summer 2020)
I flex into Alexandria just after 9:00 am today. It was my first visit in over 15 years. I checked NOTAMs beforehand for paradrops, and monitored the frequency from about 20 min to to confirm there wasn't any activity.
The grass runway is mowed nice and short, but the ground underneath is slightly unevenβnot dangerously so, but you'll do a bit of dune-buggy-style bouncing over the undulations on landing, even at minimum speed, so keep the yoke back in your lap after landing in a nosedragger.
It was firm and dry, though, and even without a headwind to help, my 160 hp PA-28 needed only a bit over half of the 2,200 ft for landing and for takeoff (after backtracking).

Nice flight on a Boeing Stearman PT-13 from 1940!
They have a Boeing Stearman PT-13 from 1940 in perfect conditions (as well as a YAKOVLEV YAK-11 from 1952), and you can have a test flight in them.
Wonderful experience, definitely worth a try!
Their website is http://www.flyozzano.com/
Friendly airport
Iβve never seen so many people hanging out at a GA field!
Agree on the hard to find
I also could not easily find this airport until I was right over it
Smoothest asphalt around!
Landed here tonight just to see what this airport was all about. Name probably comes in part from the golf course just to the north of the field. Smoothest runway ever.
Hi Po
BAKA PO MAY ALAM KAYO ESCORT PA JAPAN
Welcome to CYPD
Celtic Air took over operating CYPD three years ago. Commercial aircraft ramp fees vary from 200.00 to 400.00, commercial landing fees top out based on MTOW at about 85.00 for a Challenger 350. Private aircraft can expect up to a 25.00 landing fee. Given that the airport exists solely on these fees, we hope everyone can manage with them. Call us at 902-625-2206 if you have any questions.
Great controller
Dealt with a storm popping up over the field right before takeoff, when we finally did depart the controllers really helped navigate the cells
Birds everywhere!
Lots of wildlife on the runway in July. Be prepared.
No idea why these comments are so negative
Great airport running a great training operation. Well maintained facilities and aircraft, great prices and great staff to back it all up.
Great stuff!
Gassed up here on the way from KTEX to Houston. Super folks!

Awesome!
Stopped here today (6/30/20) to ask Smiling Aviation to handle a ferry permit sign-off for me. They could not have been more fun or more professional. I learned a lot (as a pilot not a mechanic) watching them work. The runway is great, and the gas was cheap. Will be back!
Narrow runway!
the paved part of this runway was only 21' wide!
Old Chinle Airport
This is the heading for the old (closed) and private Chinle Airport (04AZ), not the newer Chinle Municipal (E91).
Ex-Airport
On the site of former Kona Village Resort Airport.
You are welcome sir!
The correct designation for the airport is as follows:
(Al Ain Airport Ain District, Shabwah Governorate)
Please amend your previous name
Old Landing Strip
Shows up on 1970s-era topo maps and old runway still visible on satellite, but very little info available. Any further information on this obscure landing strip would be appreciated.
No heliport at location.
PIma County Sheriff's Department airborne operations seem to have moved completely to KTUS -- sensible, PCSO HQ being basically sandwiched between the flight paths of KTUS and KDMA probably made this location untenable in the long run.
Closed
Since all the FAA databases seem to be 10-12 years behind on heliports, it's probably a good idea to leave this up here so people *know* it's closed, instead of removing this and leaving only the inaccurate, old information online on other sites as Google hits. Also, it was inaccurately plotted to begin with (protip: always cross-check owner addresses on heliport listings!).
Closed
Formerly Orlando Hyatt House, Orlando Sun Resort, Ramada Orlando Celebration Resort. This property is now closed and derelict.

Bowie International?
Labeled as "Bowie International Airport" on Google Maps, but I can find no evidence this was ever actually called this other than as a local in joke.
Per Disney...
It *is* technically open, but only for emergency use.
Closed
Listed owner deceased 2000, no sign of aviation activity here in the last 20 years.
Bring me the head of John the Baptist!
This is actually the 1930s Salome CAA Intermediate Field, resurrected in the late 2010s as an emergency airfield for GA pilots! Neat to see what was effectively a forgotten archaeological site return to current use.
I thought this was closed...
But there's YouTube videos of activity here from 2015-2019. Pretty fascinating rebirth of a 1950s airstrip!
Miho Airfield
Set aside for emergency use by the Japanese government; no GA or commercial flights allowed.
Fantasy of Flight
Better known as Fantasy of Flight. In addition to the visible turf runways, there are also seaplane operations here.
Silverbell Notes
When I was here in the oughts, it primarily housed AH-64Ds for US ANG and Singapore AF units -- the Singaporeans train here as there's not exactly a ton of room to have a training base out in Singapore.
Gila River Memories
I used to ride my bike here as a kid in the late 80s/early 90s to see the old Biegert Aviation C-130s come in. Sad to see this airport fall into disuse and disrepair. Those DC-6s and hangars deserved so much better than to be turned into tinder for meth heads.
Walt Disney World / Lake Buena Vista STOLport -- still here,
One of the advantages of being a Walt Disney World Cast Member was being able to access the old airport grounds. The runway is still in use, but not for aviation; it's a vehicle storage facility for Disney. You'll have to go to Castaway Cay to find an active airport on Disney property nowadays (2020).
RJBH now helicopter only.
All fixed-wing operations ceased here in 2013. Helicopters only since 2014. Now has alternate name of Hiroshima Heliport.
First to comment on RJOA!
Now that Hiroshima-Nishi is closed to all but limited helicopter traffic, this is the closest airport to Hiroshima. Pretty nice back in 2005 last time I was here (on my 2017 and 2019 visits we took the Shinkansen instead).
It's in the mountains so you definitely don't want to overrun ...
