North America airport problem reports

EVB NDB has been decommissioned for a while

This is nowhere near Worthington Springs, despite being the correct lat/long on AirNav (which means yet again the FAA database itself is very wrong). I strongly suspect this is a duplicate of Flying Tiger Field, because there are no other airfields within 15 miles of Worthington Springs.

it is stated this airport has no scheduled service, however according to wikipedia there are commercial airlines operating flights to/from OAJ, tickets from OAJ can be booked with American Airlines for example. Can scheduled_service value be reviewed please?

WEON is not a valid ICAO code. This small agricultural airport is not listed on AirNav, but does exist.

Slightly odd name choice in use of \ not / in the name. Care to ask the airport if they'd like to switch the angle of their slash?

Why? Well somewhat comically, when used in C/C++ software, the compiler baulks at \O being an invalid 'escape sequence'.

It's easily fixed in software, by changing the \ to a \\ to make the slash 'literal'.

But just thought I'd mention, as this airport is the only one worldwide that has \ not /

This seems to be a copied database error, because the only reason "Calgary\Okotoks" is even included is because of Transport Canada's inclusion of community names in the names of heliport and GA airport listings (a name convention not shared with other nations).

Approach frequency appears to be off http://www.airnav.com/airport/kchs has 306.925, however, the airport-frequencies.csv download shows 30.692

Pilot to dispatch also appears to have the same issue 372.200 vs 37.22 in the airport-frequencies.csv download

The gps_code for this airport is "1E6" but the FAA Sectional Chart clearly shows that the LID for this airport is "2NR2". The gps_code of "1E6" is not found in the Garmin or Jeppesen databases. The local_code is correct but the gps_code should be corrected to "2NR2".

The gps_code for this airport is "NC7" but the FAA Sectional Chart shows that the correct identifier for this airport is "7NC". The local_code has the correct "7NC" code (and it should appear here because it is an FAA LID code), but both gps_code and local_code should contain "7NC".

airports.csv gives type as 'balloonport', but your data dictionary omits this type. The same comment would apply to the other 35 airport.csv entries with type as 'balloonport'. I just picked the first, as a for-example :-)

So that's at https://ourairports.com/help/data-dictionary.html. Likewise, the map legend, at https://ourairports.com/help/#airports, omits Balloon Port, as a Airport type. Would a reasonable definition perhaps, be 'Dirigible launch/landing area with no facilities for non-dirigible aircraft' ?

Per the Wikipedia page referenced in the facility data (and the archived Air Greenland booking page referenced there), Air Greenland operated here until at least 2010. This heliport exists and changing this site will not fix a problem with whatever game the person who reported the problem is playing.

My husband and I flew out from BWI this morning and my husband has a physical disability- and has a ostomy bag - he was embarrassed by your security team and treated like a thieve. He was harassed by 3 - 4 of your staff while he tried to explain his problem, they were very rude and he was quit embarrassed as other people watched , why he wasn’t taken into a private area ? Is beyond me

This is very unacceptable for such a business that deals with the public that has disabilities.

Runway recently nicely paved. In aircraft performance app apparently using this data it’s still referred to being in bad shape as gravel

Seems runways.csv missing 08/26 runway.

According to property records, this land was sold in 2019 and I don't believe that it is still being used as an airstrip
