This airfield was close to the front line in Flanders during the First World War, and French and Belgian aviators flew out of it, according to the Wikipedia article.

Friendliest airport/club

We arrived there in G-FIZZ back in October we were treated to a tour of the museum and biplane aircraft. The club chairman insisted we put our aircraft in the hanger for the night.

Looking forward to returning.

Friendly staff, relaxed but safe , great food and facilities. Efficient fuel service ( needs ul91!)

Only Compton Abbas in the UK comes anywhere close.

Customs airport with excellent facilities, including a better restaurant than any found on an airfield in the UK ( that I have found), reasonable priced fuel and landing fee, and a friendly welcome..
