My Memories of Nepalgunj Airport.

I was a VSO volunteer in Nepal in 1979. We were based at the Agricultural Research Institute on the Airport Rd. My first view of the airport was coming into land in March onboard a UN Pilatus Porter. We touched down on the mudstrip and got out and wow the heat really hit me 40degrees. There was only the control tower which was the building and a few sheds. It was rummoured that a few planes would almost touch the barbed wire on landing. When the moonsoon rains came the airport was shut, that year was a bad year with several of our favourite teashops flooded and destroyed. How things look to have changed! Good luck Nepalgunj.

About tulsipur airport

In upcoming days, Dang being an industrial area, it will be very much sophisticated to the visitors consuming their valuable time and relief from physical tiredness of hours of road driving. Thus we have to promote for the weekly three days flight to Kathmandu and indian states as Bihar, maharastra.
