Airstrip reopened!

Although not listed on Portuguese AIP's official sources yet (specifically the 'VFR Manual'), this airstrip has been reopened and certified since 2019 for ultra light/sport aircraft

Private agricultural airstrip of a nearby "monte". Using Google Earth's historical imagery function we can see the runway already existed by 2006, but it was extensively improved in 2010.

Private agricultural airstrip of the "Monte da Quinta da Foz". Runway seems to have been left unused and non-maintained for some years and is in poor condition. Using Google Earth's historical imagery function to go back to a date prior to 2006 would make the runway clearly visible.

Public airfield near the city of Porto, and the airfield of choice for recreational flyers in the area. The airfield also houses the Porto Air Club, as well as the only flight school in the north of the country: Nortávia.

The runway currently has a long displaced threshold for runway 17, with the initial part of the pavement now being crossed by a municipal road.

Once a public airfield certified for Ultra-lights, it was closed in 2012 due to the landowner's decision. The runway has since been completely destroyed but can be seen in Google Earth with the function 'Historic imagery' by going back to a date previous to 2011.

On the weekends it sees a lot of activity, from GA flights to RC planes.

The Viseu VOR is located inside the perimeter of the airport.

Public airfield located right next to the beach. Its once long paved runway was cut in half due to the construction/improvement of a road access to the beach, and as such the airfield has now a short runway, and was since 'downgraded' certification-wise to ultra-lights only. It houses the Espinho Air club (ULM's).

Joint military-civilian airfield opened to civilian traffic in 1995, it has been closed 'temporarily' to the latter in 2011, though with no known date of reopening (or if there is actually going to be a reopening at all).

Used to house the Aveiro Air Club, and has a long paved runway in very good condition.
