Karad airport:- There is no proposal to develop airport at Karad, at present, as it is 75 Km. from Kolhapur. This is the update on the madc website in the projects section.

This is what maharastra government and it's company madc(maharastra airports developement company is doing)
what do u call all this, is just taking care of western maharastra and negelecting vidharbha i.e Chandrapur,Amravati,Akola etc.
