The gps_code for this airport is "MLIP" which is not a valid ICAO code (there are no "ML"-prefixed ICAO airport codes), is not a valid Garmin or Jeppesen GPS airport code, and does not appear in the airport's Wikipedia article:

The FAA LID listed in local_code "1Q9" is correct as is the iata_code "MIJ".

However, the gps_code should be corrected to "1Q9" because that is what will pull up the airport in Garmin or Jeppesen etc. navigation databases.

Does this airfield actually exist?? The location is a long way from the town of Yea, and is in a narrow wooded valley. It's inconceivable that there could be an airfield there. Close to Yea is the Yeaburn airfield YYEA which is visible on the satellite images.

There is an old WW2 airstrip that was known as Manbulloo Airfield located at -14.59886 132.189407. I flew there when it hosted the Australian Skydiving Relative Work week in the late 1980's during which a Twin Otter and other smaller aircraft flew skydivers from this strip. It now appears to form an access road leading to a mango plantation that I remember previously being there at the south east of the runway.

Name and operational status uncertain. Not in the AIP under "Walleroo".

Airport coordinates are correct and displays in correct location. "Gulgubip, Western Highlands, Papua New Guinea" should be "Gulgubip, Western, Papua New Guinea" as location is in the Western (Fly River) Region not Western Highlands (Region) Gulgubip is listed as one of the six airports under Western Highlands. There is a widened section of road nearby that may double as a landing strip. I'm not moving the marker for now, because this is where ICAO says the airport is, but I suspect it's that section of road just to the WNW.
