The media article states that the first flight will be in September 2017 by Air Deccan.

I had used free 10min parking in Chennai Airport many times. Not once, I paid the Rs.135 so many are complaining about. I ensured: 1) Take the Token/Ticket at entry and CHECK the IN TIME correctly. 2) Exit before 10min clearly.
Dont complain if you stay 10min 22 sec. It is chargeable! We are so accustomed to little freebee (at street side vegetable shop) that for us 10min == 1hr also!!

Don't know why the Indian air force always have to compensate its security for the welfare of nation's civilians. At this rate, terrorists would easily be able to get a sight on the nation's military hardware and thus, the national security will be hampered. Even china does not let civilian flights operate from military bases only in extreme cases they do so and this is not one of those! It works like that only, civilians enjoy everything and military men have to work hard to protect these goofs.

I think UDAN scheme got attantion for Jalgaon as unserved airport and awarded 1st flight starts in September 2017 (as per media resources).
Air Deccan got contract and they will start service soon but don't know exact date of 1st flight. Also, they are not taking bookings as they didn't finalise date of fiights. :(

We have to go to Madhubani. At present we have to go to Patna by flight. From there, a bus to Madhubani which takes about 6 to 7 hours. So airport at Madhubani or Darbhanga would be ideal. There should flights to Madhubani Darbhanga directly from Delhi/ Kolkata/Mumbai.

As the northern most part of bihar , An commerical airport in madhubani or either darbhanga is needed. Since most of bihari living outside the state due to non employment , the need for connectivity is should outmost prority in this region. i would like to request Prime minister Modiji , MLA And MP of region along Mr Jayant Sinha to get air aviation company to operate in Patna , Delhi and Calcutta sector.

Salem Airport Must be Operate soon for salem people...
As people from salem mainly use either Bangalore or chennai or cochin to board flights to travel to abroad especially UAE/Qatar/Saudi/Oman.
And within india like Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata/Visakhapatnam also using same airport to board flight which are mentioned above.
Already there are many airlines companies are operating daily service from Bangalore/chennai/hyderabad to cochin which are priced as low 1000-2000rs even though seats are not full every time except main holidays.
And same flights/airlines will operate same via salem at least weekly thrice as below mentioned route it's very helpful for salem people and also budget airlines can gain profit.
Proposal route via salem.
1. Cochin to Chennai via Salem.
Chennai to Cochin via salem.
2. Cochin to Bangalore via Salem.
Bangalore to Cochin via salem.
3. Cochin to Hyderabad via salem.
Hyderabad to Kochi via salem.
As of now there are daily 2volvo buss are going to hyderabad and cochin from salem which are fully booked and sometimes can't get ticket too and price are 2000Rs.
If we have above routes as mentioned would be very helpful.

I have checked in airport early morning @ 05:22:56 on 20th March 2017 but when I reached out the person in check out told it's almost 7 minutes over u pay Rs60. While I was asking for bill he gave me a bill which was not computerised and the date of bill was 19th March. Wen i told about bill date he just took that bill and punched 20th date and gave me and the bill was for tempo and suv, but my vehicle was not suv normal hyundai i 10.so my request is take necessary action against that contractor and make computerised bill on check out position also, if u r not taking any action i will complaint higher authority
