Pune airport is small and nice.
handling few international flights only, but it is connection Abu Dhabi through jet airways, Dubai through spicejet and Frankfurt through Lufthansa, maybe even more.
Airport staff, security and immigration officers are always very friendly and helpful and more relaxed than bigger airports like Delhi or Mumbai.
Whenever I can I travel through Pune Airport only. Very convenient. For Mumbai airport flights I need to leave home 8 hours before flight. For pune max to max 2,5 hours.
Lot of construction is going on, waiting area is getting improved a lot currently and new gangways are being built.

May I request our MP Mr. Kirti Jha Azad and Mr. Hukum Dev Narayan Yadav (surprisingly both belonging to BJP, to ask the Central government on our behalf to speed up the work of Darbhanga Airport, which will facilitate the public of this peaceful region and contribute in development of the zone.
Commercial flights.
I believe that to start commercial flights, even smaller regional ones, the runway should be a little longer (20-30%) as a safety margin. Also the customers should be available in sufficient quantity, which I believe is not a problem anymore as Saharsa is a transport hub for nearby places as well and Indian economy is now strong enough at that place. Still, it is up to corrupt politicians, government officials, bureaucrats and contractors to give up their selfish profits and start building the country piece by piece. The #PMO and central government are not gonna care cause they have bigger problems to worry about. The best the people can do is improve that airstrip/airport on their own- Rs 100 X 10LAKH families = Rs 10 CRORE for runway improvement! Sorry for the harsh comment but it is the truth.

As per UDAN scheme, it was supposed flight to and fro from Darbhanga, it's in media but no progress on ground works. Request you please expedite this.

We don't know what is happening about jalgaon airport. Last 9 month before I heard about the progress of jalgaon airport. Today I am checking flight from Mumbai to jalgaon but it showing me two option one is sold out and another is no flight on this date. Are government/ private company of airline teasing to us?

Good Service, arrange for prepaid cab service online and price. Local people's are demanding more. Taking advantage due to distance from roadways. Transport corporation can arrange local commutes.

Requesting the respected MPs, Civil Aviation ministry to expedite this noble work so that we could enjoy our holiday at our villages rather in trains like Sautantra Sainani, which takes 30 to 40 hours to reach Darbhanga and never runs on time, in that way people who are working in private sector spares most of the holiday travelling. It will be boon to our region. People of Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamadhi, Samastipur, Jainagar and Muzaffarpur will be able to celebrate their festival at home, Airlines will be able to generate revenue exponentially during Diwali, Chhat, Holi and Durgapuja.

Parking fee scam at Trichy airport
Now a days in Trichy airport the contractors are looting the customers like any thing for parking. The free parking is 5 minutes, even if we come within five minutes, they are charging the fare. They are doing fraud with the timings. While entering the are giving a machine printed slips, while coming out, they are checking the time manually and telling the time exceeded more than five minutes.

Still major passengers towards jalgaon to Pune so aviation ministry will have to think to start flight daily.

Katihar Airport must be enlarged and developed as Commercial Airport.
The Railway Station in the city of Katihar handles more passengers daily than most of the tier 2 cities in India. Hence , it is the responsibility of the Aviation Minister to look into the matter and consider Katihar atleast under UDAN scheme.
